Hand-knitted by local Kaipara artist Erika Husselmann exclusively for the Hundertwasser Art Centre, this beautiful wool hat will keep little heads warm while celebrating Hundertwasser’s distinctive artistic vision.
Made using Opal Yarn – According to Hundertwasser 970, “Who Has Eaten All My Windows”, inspired by the artwork painted at Waipiro Bay, New Zealand, on 29 March 1996.
Featuring a playful pom pom, this cosy 4-ply hat has an unstretched diameter of approximately 13cm and measures approximately 15cm from crown to edge. Made from 75% virgin wool (superwash) and 25% polyamide, the hat is soft, absorbent, durable, and machine washable at 40°C. The superwash finish helps prevent felting and shrinkage, making it practical and easy to care for.
Please Note: The image is an example only and may not show the exact hat you receive. As each hat is individually hand-knitted, there will be slight variations in the colour pattern and placement, making every hat unique.
