This hand-carved Toki pendant is crafted by a skilled Māori carver from genuine NgāI Tahu West Coast Marsden Flower Jade, sourced from the Marsden area. This rare and highly prized greenstone features a translucent, light green centre free from dark spots or flaws, with the distinctive pale green and ochre cloud-like patterns that make Flower Jade so sought-after. The unique colouring comes from the oxidised rind of the greenstone boulders, giving each piece its own natural beauty.
