This hand-carved Toki pendant is crafted by a skilled Māori carver from authentic Ngāi Tahu West Coast Inanga greenstone sourced from the Arahura River area. Inanga is prized for its soft grey-green tones, ranging from very translucent to quite opaque, and has long been valued by Māori for creating Mere and Patu due to its strength and spiritual significance.

The Toki design, traditionally a tool or adze, symbolises strength, determination, and courage. Wearing this pendant connects you to the mana and history of pounamu, making it a meaningful gift or personal taonga.
