This hand-carved Heart (Manawa) with Koru pendant has been crafted by a skilled Māori carver from genuine NgāI Tahu West Coast Kawakawa greenstone, one of the most prized and recognised varieties of New Zealand pounamu. Kawakawa stone is known for its deep, rich green tones with natural variations and inclusions, named after the native Kawakawa leaf.
