Keep little feet warm with these beautifully hand-knitted Odd Booties, lovingly crafted by local Kaipara artist Erika Husselmann exclusively for the Hundertwasser Art Centre MuseumShop in Whangarei. Inspired by the philosophy of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, every pair celebrates individuality and creativity.

Each set is uniquely knitted, reflecting Hundertwasser's belief that life is richer when it embraces difference. As he famously said: "Why do you have to wear two matching socks? Odd, i.e. non-matching, socks are a living, wearable symbol of the rejection of inhumane regularity."

These booties are sold as coordinated pre-made pairs, while our famous hand-knitted Odd Socks are available exclusively in-store, where you can choose two different socks to create your own unique pair. Made from warm wool, these booties are ideal for keeping little toes cosy during cooler months. As each pair is handmade, slight variations in colour and pattern make every set one of a kind.
