The colourway “150 Singing Steamer in Ultramarine III” (1959) draws inspiration from Hundertwasser’s mixed-media painting — a colourful, geometric depiction of a submarine created from a cherished childhood memory. Begun in Vienna and completed in Paris, it is considered a sister work to “Parts of a Steamer” and reflects his imaginative use of form and colour. These tones are beautifully echoed in the yarn, resulting in a distinctive, art-inspired design.

Made from 75% virgin wool (superwash) and 25% polyamide, this hat is soft, absorbent, and durable. The superwash finish ensures it remains non-felting, unshrinkable, and machine washable at 40°C, providing warmth and comfort with easy care.
