The Hundertwasser 956 colourway comes from his 1994 watercolor painting “Dadakulaci – Laticauda Colubrina” (Giant Banded Sea Krait), with silver leaf added in 1995. Painted in New Zealand, the work features a patterned sea snake symbolizing the coexistence of danger and gentleness — a reflection of Hundertwasser’s belief in living in harmony with the natural world. The playful, flowing colours of this yarn echo the lively, intricate design of the original artwork.

Made from 75% virgin wool (superwash) and 25% polyamide, this hat is soft, absorbent, durable, and machine washable at 40°C. The superwash finish ensures it remains non-felting and unshrinkable, combining practical care with artistic flair.
