Keep your little one cosy in a beautifully hand-knitted hat, made locally using Opal Wool – Hundertwasser 676A. Inspired by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, this yarn celebrates the vibrancy of nature and the joy of organic, flowing design.

The Hundertwasser 676A colourway comes from his 1971 silkscreen “A Rainy Day on the Regentag”, created in collaboration with Günter Dietz. Part of the graphic portfolio Look at It on a Rainy Day, the print features 16 colours with 5-color metal embossing on metallic cardboard. Hundertwasser described the inspiration as looking through the portholes of his ship at the glowing rain falling into the sea — a feeling captured in the luminous tones and flowing patterns of this yarn.

Made from 75% virgin wool (superwash) and 25% polyamide, this hat is soft, absorbent, durable, and machine washable at 40°C. The superwash finish ensures it remains non-felting and unshrinkable, combining practicality with artistic inspiration.
