The Hundertwasser 422 colourway is inspired by his 1959 watercolor painting “Arbre de pluie” (Tree of Rain), also known as Regenbaum (Rain Tree). Painted in Hamburg on wrapping paper primed with chalk, zinc white, and fish glue, the work depicts a vibrant, stylized tree dripping with colourful rain. The flowing, patterned rain design reflects Hundertwasser’s rejection of straight lines in favour of organic shapes, showcasing his enduring love of nature — a spirit captured in the gentle, vibrant tones of this yarn.

Made from 75% virgin wool (superwash) and 25% polyamide, this hat is soft, absorbent, durable, and machine washable at 40°C. The superwash finish ensures it remains non-felting and unshrinkable, combining practical care with artistic inspiration.
