A special limited offer to buy one colour of the Conservation Week 1974 poster and receive the other colour to keep or gift.

In 1974, only one year after he arrived at the country for the first time, Hundertwasser designed a poster for New Zealand Conservation Week. This effort earned him a citation from the Nature Conservation Council, recognising his significant contribution to conservation in New Zealand.
A retail poster print was created in 1974 after the original posters were donated to different conservation groups so that people could have one in their own homes.
The poster has not been reprinted since the original print run and we recently have been given permission to have a very limited reprint done, available exclusively through the MuseumShop at the Hundertwasser Art Centre.
2024 marks the 50th anniversary of Hundertwasser’s Conservation Week poster so this is only fitting that this iconic poster, which is displayed in our exhibition Hundertwasser in New Zealand 1973-2000, can now be purchased by the public.

Please note there are two different versions, one has red vertical lines, the other has green vertical lines.
