The story behind O TE MOTU

We looked to the PAST of our tupuna and their resourcefulness. Next we looked at the PRESENT day destruction and devastation we are causing Papatuanuku through our consumerist behaviours. Becoming consciously aware we can create a more sustainable FUTURE.
This kaupapa evolved from a homeschooling project with our daughter Mereana Wairua(8) aka ‘BOSS KOTIRO’. From this project we developed O TE MOTU CREATIONS LTD. Through our business our daughter authentically learns her numeracy, literacy, creativity, social skills and most importantly - who she is and how she contributes to society.

We recommend you care and gently handle your items, treat them like the taonga (treasure) they are. When cleaning, use a damp cloth and let air dry.
