This exhibition catalogue represents the 4th exhibition held from 11th March 2023 to 2nd July 2023. It explores the history of Tainui ancestresses Reitu and Reipae – a significant korero tuku iho in Whangarei. Their story is remembered in one of the names for this place, Te Tauwhanga a Reipae (The Waiting Place of Reipae).

This whakapapa connects Te Tai Tokerau to Tainui and highlights shared heritage. The exhibition features works by six artists whose whakapapa and creative interests bridge Te Tai Tokerau and Waikato.
