This Lithographic A2 print was from recent work by top NZ artist Emily Karaka and was donated by the Artist to the Hundertwasser Art Centre with Wairau Maori Art Gallery to raise funds.

Emily is Toi Iho registered which is Maoridom’s official recognition of authenticity and quality in art. Lament is a requiem for Nuku, tribal leader of Emily’s iwi, Ngai Tai.

The original work is a large-scale vivid piece.
