Hundertwasser first created the original “Lookout Mirror” (APA 369) in 1993, designing it in a fax letter dated 17 July 1993. The mirror’s surface is divided using lead-filled separators, distinguishing it from the coloured frame — a vivid combination of red, blue, yellow, and green that reflects Hundertwasser’s organic, expressive approach to colour and form.

Today, these mirrors continue to be handmade exclusively for the KunstHausWien MuseumShop and the Hundertwasser Art Centre, maintaining the same artistic intent and artisanal quality.
This version measures 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm, inspired by the original APA 369 (9.5 cm × 8.5 cm) while preserving its iconic design characteristics.
