Hundertwasser considered New Zealand a second home. The name of this plate is derived from Te Reo Maori, the native language of Aotearoa New Zealand.
"Ao Tea Roa" most commonly translates to "Land of the Long White Cloud."

Decorated by hand in 18 colours, this piece features gold and platinum elements and has been fired six times at 1200° Celsius.
