This vivid art print is based on Friedensreich Hundertwasser’s “GREEN TOWN” (Oeuvre 781), a visionary urban landscape where nature and architecture coexist in harmony. Trees grow on rooftops, cars and pedestrians move through grassy avenues, and the entire city merges seamlessly into a green environment—a reflection of Hundertwasser’s dream of sustainable, living cities.

Produced as a premium 8-colour offset print on 350 g/sqm cast coated paper, the piece features glitter blue (light and dark) and highly refractive silver glossy-foil embossing, applied in several intricate steps including a complex overprint and drying process.

Hundertwasser on “GREEN TOWN”:"From above the city cannot be seen, as the roofs and level ground are also totally full of greenery. One thinks it is a forest landscape... I’m glad I’m a painter and not an architect."(Catalogue Raisonné, Vol. 2, Taschen, Cologne, 2002)
