Details

This vivid art print is based on Friedensreich Hundertwasser’s painting “DOMESTIC CAT” (Oeuvre 906), capturing the artist’s signature blend of fantastical imagery and ecological sensibility. With its expressive color palette and layered surface texture, the piece celebrates the quiet majesty of the domestic feline—transformed through Hundertwasser’s organic forms and spiraling geometry.

Printed using a premium 8-colour offset process, the image is brought to life with blue, glitter blue, and highly refractive silver foil embossing, executed in several precise finishing steps. The production involves four specialized print houses in the Stuttgart region to achieve this intricate, luminous effect.
