This Hundertwasser Architecture postcard features the Hundertwasser-building “The Rainbow Spiral of Valkenburg” in the Netherlands. After the Ronald McDonald House that Hundertwasser designed for Essen was so well received, the Ronald McDonald Kinderfonds in De Bilt approached the Hundertwasser Foundation in Vienna, asking whether it would also be possible to have a house designed according to Hundertwasser's principles, for the families of children with handicaps and serious medical conditions, in Valkenburg an der Geul in the Netherlands. The New Zealand Spiral Monument, designed by Hundertwasser in 1987/88 and planned by architect Peter Pelikan was used as a model for this project Printed in premium quality with a UV-Varnish-Finish making the premium-print look even more brilliant.
